Command Prefix

The command prefix tells Bacons Helper that a chat message is a bot command.

Choose a prefix that does not conflict with other bots in the channel. The default prefix is ^.

Output Filtering

Output filtering prevents Bacons Helper from using profanity as input or output.

Keeping this enabled is recommended when Auto Translator is active so translation cannot be used to bypass moderation filters.

Auto Translator

Bacons Helper can automatically translate supported chat messages into the configured channel language.

Messages generally need to contain four or more words. Slang, regional wording, and words with multiple meanings may not translate perfectly.

Follow Bot Filter

The follow-bot filter detects common follow-bot advertisements and can remove the message from chat.

The bot checks account context and protected badges before applying moderation. Bacons Helper requires moderator status for deletion and timeout actions.

Chat Seeding

Chat Seeding allows experimental AI responses to include known chatter names when generating a message.

This feature is disabled by default.

Raid Shout Out

Auto Shout Out lets Bacons Helper send a message when another channel raids the stream.

The feature is disabled by default.

Example Commands
^set raid-shout-out enable

Raid Message

The raid message is sent after an incoming raid when Auto Shout Out is enabled.

Dynamic placeholders can include ${name}, ${link}, and ${game}.

Welcome Messages

Welcome Messages greet chatters after their first message in the channel.

This feature is disabled by default and can be enabled from chat.

Welcome Message

Customize the message Bacons Helper sends when welcoming a chatter.

Use ${name} to insert the chatter name into the message.

Auto Live Notifications

Auto Live Notifications announce when a configured streamer comes online.

Use the add and remove commands to manage the watched-channel list.

Trebek Mini Game

The Trebek mini game is inspired by the Celebrity Jeopardy sketches.

Chatters earn points for qualifying jokes, and unique jokes are added to the channel joke bank.

Family Feud Mini Game

A game master posts a question and contestants submit answers through a temporary page.

The game master can finish the round by using the generated round ID.

World Record Mini Game

A game master posts a measurable question and contestants submit their guesses through a temporary page.

The generated round ID is used to close and score the round.

Roll 420 Mini Game

Chatters can periodically test the random-number generator and try to roll 420 for bragging rights.

Chatters can periodically test the random-number generator and try to roll the configured winning value.

Game Roulette

Eligible chatters can spend channel points for limited attempts to win a game key.

Availability, odds, and attempt limits are controlled by the channel configuration.
